This website serves a way of sharing some oral history excerpts from Barrio Acahualinca, located in Managua, Nicaragua. The oral histories were recorded in 2009 and 2010 by Chris Hartmann, master’s student, and they represent the facts, beliefs, and understandings of how Barrio Acahualinca and sector La Chureca grew and transformed from the 1970s to now according to the Barrio Acahualinca community.
